On the right bank of the Danube, in the easternmost city of the Republic of Croatia, Ilok, in the town of antiques and wine, Iločki podrumi are located. Here, over two millennia old tradition of growing grapevines and wines of high quality assortment from vineyards, which, in the wavy plateaux of the western slopes of the Fruška gora, are lowered to the mighty Danube. Wines are produced on 990 hectares of vineyards, and a total of about 4 million liters of wine are produced annually, which are also holders of numerous awards won at the most prestigious national and international professional wine evaluations.The specialty of the territory, varieties, people, technologies and constant improvement of quality are the main strategic determinants in all segments of business, as evidenced by numerous awards won at the most prestigious national and international expert wine evaluations. The iceberg vintage Traminer 2007 ranks 19th in the range of 550,000 wines from around the world.The Traminer of Iločki podrumi was served on the crown and the diamond anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II.The most awarded Croatian winery also occupies the place of the only Croatian cellar drawn on the European high altitude map.
