Paška sirana is the oldest cheese factory on the island of Pag with which began the story of the Pag cheese, the most famous and the most awarded Croatian cheese. Pag cheese was placed on the market, given the label, the first sent to the competition and got a medal for it, they created a brand out of the Pag cheese that is now known not only in Croatia but also throughout the world. We can feel free to call the Paška sirana the “mother of Pag cheese” because it the only one that has more than 65 years of tradition of making cheese. Paška sirana is the winner of numerous international and domestic awards.
